match_id, it returns the current odds set for all matches with active live markets, which can serve as one entry point for “discovering matches in progress”; with a match_id, it queries all active markets for a single match.
A single match can have as many as 70–80 active market instances at once, covering roughly 45 bet types across 11 major categories (see the enum reference below for details). Typically used for live-odds pages or odds-movement tracking products.
Odds change in real time as the match situation evolves, and markets may be temporarily suspended or shrink due to factors like the match approaching its end or a change in score; markets may be an empty array after full time, so the client needs to handle this shrinkage gracefully. The odds source is currently always bet365 (the bookmaker field); this field will be used to distinguish bookmakers once multiple bookmakers are supported.

Live market categories
A single live match has 70–80 active market instances simultaneously (multiple lines of the same type count as multiple instances), covering roughly 45 selectable options across 11 major categories. The authoritative market type ismarket_code (see the full directory below); this section is organized by bet-type category to make the options easier to understand.
1). Match result category
2). Handicap category
3). Over/under category
The same options apply across multiple underlying metrics: total goals, single-team goals, corners, total shots, single-team shots, shots on target, total cards, throw-ins, etc., with multiple lines open simultaneously.
4). Correct score: options are score strings
1:0/2:0/2:1/…/0:0/1:1… (dozens of options, dynamically trimmed based on the current score — only scores that are still possible are retained during live play).
5). Yes/No category: Yes/No, coexisting with and without a handicap: both teams to score (BTTS, full-time/half), whether another goal will be scored, a single team scoring in a specific half, extra time deciding the winner, a penalty shootout deciding the winner — all use this option format.
6). Player goalscorer markets: options are a list of player names (typically 12+ entries, dynamically adjusted with substitutions) — next goalscorer/anytime goalscorer (no handicap), a player scoring 2+/3+ goals (handicap variants).
7). Player stat markets: options are {player name}/Over {N}+ combinations (e.g. Lionel Messi/Over 2+) — player shot count/shots on target; a plain player-name-list variant is used for player-to-be-carded markets.
8). Goal method markets: Shot/Header/Penalty/Free kick/Own goal/No goal — the method of the Nth goal.
9). Win method / qualification markets (specific to knockout stages, e.g. the World Cup)
10). Instant-event markets (specific to live play,
handicap = interval starting minute)
11). Corner race markets:
1/2 options — who reaches the 5th/7th/9th corner first, who wins the Nth corner, who wins the last corner. These share the 1/2 option format with the Asian handicap, disambiguated directly via market_code (e.g. “who reaches the 5th corner first,” “last corner” — see the market directory below).
